Alice R. McAdams

Alice R. McAdams is a member in good standing of the Appraisers Association of America and all of her appraisals are compliant with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). She and has been working with the finest paintings, antiques and decorative arts since she began working for Stair & Company. As a Director of Stair & Company, Alice oversaw the acquisition and sale of the company’s world renowned collection of European and Contemporary paintings and antiques until it closed.

After which Alice joined the Alexander Gallery, specialists in 19th Century American, European, Old Master Paintings and decorative arts. With the changing taste in the art market, they are now also dealing in Modern and Contemporary Art.

Alice deals with clients from all around the world and continues working with art and antiques from all parts of the globe. Her years of experience in the fine art and antiques trade has given her the wealth of information and knowledge and expertise only attained through “being in the business.”
